About

I photograph what happens when nobody is posing.

Fifteen years, two hundred weddings and a lot of walking. I trained as a press photographer in Porto and still work like one: arrive early, stay late, stay out of the way.

“The best pictures are the ones you almost missed.”

“Mira never asked us to pose. She just disappeared into the day — and somehow came back with every glance, every tear and my grandmother’s dance.”
